Kawasaki proudly introduces its latest edition in the Z family, the 2013 Z800. It has been long 40 years that the Z family was introduced. By introducing this super naked bike Z800, Kawasaki has strengthened its naked bike family. The 2013 Kawasaki Z800 is the modified version of Z750 and has been unveiled in INTERMOT show in Cologne, Germany.
The 2013 Kawasaki is equipped with 806cc liquid-cooled engine and 4-stroke In-line Four tuned torque. It has a maximum power of 83.0 kW/ 10,200 rpm and a maximum torque of 83.0 N*m / 8,000 rpm. The motorcycle has a six-speed transmission. Larger displacement facilities better performance especially in the low-mid range. The highly communicative chassis enables smooth riding on any type of roads.
The Z800’s instrument panel features a triple LCD screen which includes a level-meter-style tachometer, fuel gauge and the Economical Riding Indicator. The New LED taillight design features a “Z” model. The Compact headlamp cowl utilizes a multi-facet design to make a more aggressive look.
It also comes with optional ABS. ABS models feature a compact and lightweight Nissin motorcycle ABS unit. The ABS unit is located under the rider’s seat which contributes an increased room for storage under passenger seat.
The Z800 has a fuel tank capacity of 17 liters and has a kerb weigh 229kg. While the ABS model weigh 231 kg. The Z800 is available in the following colors: Candy Flat Blazed Green / Metallic Spark Black, Pearl Stardust White / Metallic Spark Black, and Flat Ebony / Metallic Spark Black.
